Kat is a marine biologist (MSc) with extensive research experience, having worked with NGOs, universities and governmental departments across the globe, from Southeast Asia, to the Caribbean to the Maldives, and more.
Kat provides consultancy on marine science and conservation, project planning, data collection and community outreach. Focus areas are shark and ray biology and ecology, with experience in coral reef ecology, marine megafauna and ghost gear.
Her latest work includes consultancy for a research centre developing their first shark conservation project in Thailand.

Working in tropical destinations with marine megafauna, Kat has often had the opportunity to capture incredible moments and interactions in stunning locations. Over the last few years, Kat has focused on her photography and videography, qualifying as a commercial drone pilot.

Kat is experienced in social media management, having run multiple platforms for a marine charity across 3 years, created social media content for shark and ghost gear research projects and designed the website for a conservation initiative.
